What should I do if the clothing mannequin prop is damaged?
We all know that there are many kinds of materials for making mannequin props: made of plaster, made of plastic, made of fiberglass.
a. If it is made of plaster and it becomes dirty or discolored, you can use talcum powder to fill it and wipe it with a dry fine cloth;
b. If it is made of plastic, do not use chemical additives. Please use a detergent that is commonly used to clean porcelain and does not hurt your hands;
c. If it is made of fiberglass, spray it with the corresponding paint.
Mannequin props are sometimes easily broken. How should we deal with the damaged ones?
Recently, I saw several mannequin props sleeping in front of a retail clothing store on the street. These mannequin props were in different shapes. Some were missing arms and legs, some were missing heads and upper bodies, some were missing heads and lower bodies, and some had only a head left. These mannequin props were sleeping naked, showing a unique landscape. According to analysis, as retail clothing stores begin to change seasons, the entire store needs to be rectified. Too old mannequin props are eliminated or thrown away directly. Some merchants even throw them directly in front of the store and place them in public places at will. This practice not only pollutes the environment, but also brings fright and inconvenience to passers-by.
